A  MAN, KILLED  IN  AN  INDUSTRIAL  ACCIDENT  2  WEEKS  AGO,   HAS  BEEN  IDENTIFIED.       30  YEAR-OLD  JOSE  JUAN  SERRANO SUFFERED  FATAL  INJURIES  WHEN  HE  WAS REPORTEDLY  HIT  BY  A  COUNTERWEIGHT  WHILE  COVERING  A  PALLET  OF  STRAWBERRIES  IN  A  SALINAS  BUSINESS.    NO  ONE WITNESSED  THE  ACCIDENT,  BUT  CO-WORKERS  CALLED  FOR  HELP  WHEN  THEY  FOUND  SERRANO.  HE  WAS  PRONOUNCED  DEAD  AT THE  SCENE.
