SALINAS POLICE ARE INVESTIGATING AN ARMED ROBBERY THAT TOOK PLACE OUTSIDE OF A BANK ON MONDAY.   A 29-YEAR-OLD MAN PULLED INTO THE BANK ON THE 400 BLOCK OF SOUTH MAIN STREET AROUND 2:30 P-M WHEN TWO MEN IN A GREEN SATURN DROVE UP NEXT TO HIM.   THE PASSENGER OF THE SATURN BRANDISHED A HANDGUN AND THE VICTIM HANDED OVER AN UNDISCLOSED AMOUNT OF CASH BEFORE THE SATURN FLED ON MONTEREY STREET.   ANYONE WITH INFORMATION ON THIS CASE IS ASKED TO CALL 758-7321.
