FOLLOWING A RECENT RISE IN BURGLARIES THE SCOTTS VALLEY POLICE DEPARTMENT IS WARNING RESIDENTS TO LOCK THEIR HOMES AND VEHICLES.   15 UNLOCKED VEHICLES HAVE BEEN BURGLARIZED IN SCOTTS VALLEY SINCE FEBRUARY 1st.    ACCORDING TO SCOTTS VALLEY POLICE SERGEANT JUSTIN MILROY, BURGLARS TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE SAFE AND SECURE FEELING RESIDENTS GET IN SCOTTS VALLEY.   RESIDENTS ARE ASKED TO REPORT SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY BY CALLING THE INVESTIGATIONS UNIT AT 831-440-5670.
