Flooding, Road Closures As Heavy Rains Fall On Saturated Ground

Take A Look At Some Local Flooding

A traffic stop in Castroville resulted in the arrest of a wanted felon.     A Monterey County Sheriff’s deputy pulled over a car for vehicle code violations and found that the driver was wanted for an outstanding felony charge for choking someone to unconsciousness.   The man fled the car but was caught by the deputy.    He was booked into Monterey County jail on the outstanding charges and resisting arrest.
