TWO LOCAL BEACHES HAVE BEEN ISSUED SWIM ADVISORIES DUE TO HIGH LEVELS OF BACTERIA FOUND IN THE WATER.   THE MOST RECENT RESULTS FROM CAPITOLA BEACH AND COWELL BEACH INDICATED BACTERIA LEVELS ABOVE SAFE BODY-CONTACT STANDARDS.   TESTING WILL CONTINUE AND THE ADVISORY WILL REMAIN IN EFFECT UNTIL BACTERIA LEVELS RETURN TO NORMAL.
