A HIGH SPEED CHASE LED TO A MAN BEING ARRESTED AFTER JUMPING IN THE WATER AT MARINA STATE BEACH.  CALIFORNIA HIGHWAY PATROL TRIED TO CONDUCT A TRAFFIC STOP ON A SPEEDING CAR ON SOUTHBOUND HIGHWAY 1 IN MARINA TUESDAY AFTERNOON.     THE CAR FAILED TO STOP AND LED OFFICERS ON A CHASE REACHING SPEEDS OVER 100 MILES AN HOUR BEFORE THE MAN PARKED BY THE BEACH AND JUMPED INTO THE WATER.    THE SUSPECT WAS TAKEN TO AN AREA HOSPITAL TO BE TREATED FOR HYPOTHERMIA AND THEN ARRESTED.
