Take A Look At Some Local Flooding

A  24  YEAR-OLD  MAN  SUFFERED  FATAL  INJURIES  AROUND 5:30  THIS  MORNING  WHEN  HE  MADE  A  U-TURN  IN  PRUNEDALE.       HIS  HONDA  WAS  SHEARED  IN  HALF   BY  A  MITSUBISHI,   WHEN  HE  ATTEMPTED  TO  MAKE  THE U-TURN  (FROM  THE  SOUTHBOUND  SIDE  OF  HIGHWAY  101,   TO  THE  NORTHBOUND  SIDE) AT  MALLORY  CANYON  ROAD. THE  2  PEOPLE   IN  THE  MITSUBISHI  SUFFERED  ONLY  MINOR  INJURIES  IN  THAT  CRASH.

AT  LEAST  1  NORTHBOUND  LANE  WAS  CLOSED  UNTIL  NEARLY 9  A.M.,   AS  THE  CAUSE  OF  THE  ACCIDENT  WAS  INVESTIGATED,   AND THE  ROADWAY WAS  CLEARED.
