IT  TOOK  ONLY  A  FEW  DAYS  THIS  YEAR  BEFORE  THE  ANNUAL  WHARF-TO-WHARF RACE WAS  SOLD  OUT,  WITH  THE LAST ENTRIES  BEING  ACCEPTED  THIS  (WEDNESDAY)  MORNING.     THAT  MEANS  THAT  15  THOUSAND  WALKERSJOGGERS,  AND  RUNNERS HAVE  ALREADY LET RACE  ORGANIZERS  KNOW  THAT  THEY  PLAN  TO  TAKE  PART  IN  THE  6-MILE  LONG “BEST LITTLE ROAD  RACE  IN  CALIFORNIA” ON  THE  4TH SUNDAY  IN  JULY  (WHICH  IS  JULY 28TH THIS  YEAR).     THE  RACE  STARTS  ON  BEACH  STREET,   NEAR  THE  SANTA  CRUZ  WHARF;   AND  ENDS  IN  CAPITOLA VILLAGE,   NEAR  THE  CAPITOLA  WHARF.
