Flooding, Road Closures As Heavy Rains Fall On Saturated Ground

After years of praying for rain, Santa Cruz County has had more than its fill. Looking for something to bet on now that the Super Bowl is in the past? Try betting on whether 17 will stay open!

Take A Look At Some Local Flooding

SANTA CRUZ CITY WATER OFFICIALS ARE VYING FOR WATER RESTRICTIONS IN LANDSCAPE AND OTHER NON-ESSENTIAL USES.     IN THE MONTH OF MARCH LESS THAN ONE INCH OF RAINFALL WAS SEEN AND WITH INCREASED STATE REGULATIONS ANOTHER LOW WATER YEAR IS TO COME.    A REPORT WILL BE BROUGHT BEFORE THE CITY COUNCIL ON APRIL 23rd TO DECIDE WHETHER THE LACK OF RAIN AND INCREASED REGULATIONS MAKE IMPOSING A WATER RESTRICTION FOR SUMMER NECESSARY.
