A 62-YEAR-OLD MAN IS RUNNING FROM GEORGIA TO MONTEREY TO RAISE AWARENESS FOR ALZHEIMER’S DISEASE.   JACK FUSSELL LOST HIS FATHER TO ALZHEIMER’S AND HAS TRAINED FOR YEARS TO TAKE THE JOURNEY.    HE RUNS 18 MILES A DAY FOR 3 HOURS AND THEN SPENDS THE REST OF HIS DAY SPREADING AWARENESS WITH LOCAL ALZHEIMER’S ASSOCIATIONS.         FUSSELL IS EXPECTED TO ARRIVE IN MONTEREY LATE SEPTEMBER OR EARLY OCTOBER.   TO FOLLOW HIS STORY OR HELP SUPPORT THE CAUSE GO ONLINE TO WWW.ACROSS THE LAND 2013.COM.
