SEVERAL  DEAD  COWS,   AND  A  DEAD  HORSE,   WERE  FOUND  ALONG  WITH  SOME  BARELY-STILL-ALIVE  ANIMALS  ON  A  SOUTH  MONTEREY  COUNTY  PROPERTY.       OFFICIALS  WITH THE  S.P.C.A.  OF  MONTEREY  COUNTY SAY  THEY  FOUND  THE  ANIMALS  IN  THE  PINE  VALLEY  ROAD AREA OF  SAN  ARDO.       NO  ANIMAL  FOOD  WAS  FOUND  ON  THE  PROPERTY  WITH  THE  ABANDONED  ANIMALS,   AND  THE  ONLY  WATER  AVAILABLE  WAS  DIRTY AND  GREEN  WITH  ALGAE.

IF  CAUGHT,  THE  OWNERS  COULD  FACE  CHARGES.

ANYONE  WITH  ANY INFORMATION  ABOUT  THE  ANIMALS  (OR  THE PERSON  WHO  MAY  HAVE LEFT  THEM  THERE  TO  DIE),   IS  ENCOURAGED  TO  CONTACT  THE  S.P.C.A.  OF  MONTEREY  COUNTY.
