ON MARCH 27TH,   THE UNITED STATES SUPREME COURT PLANS TO LISTEN TO ARGUMENTS ON THE CONSTITUTIONALITY OF CALIFORNIA’S BAN ON PROPOSITION 8.     THE SAME SEX- MARRIAGE LAW WAS PASSED IN 2008,  BUT LATER WAS OVERTURNED BY A FEDERAL JUDGE AND APPELLATE PANEL.    THE GAY-LESBIAN-BISEXUAL-TRANSGENDER  ALLIANCE OF SANTA CRUZ COUNTY AND THE DIVERSITY CENTERARE ASKING PARTICIPANTS TO WEAR THE COLOR RED FOR A ONE-HOUR RALLY,  WHICH IS SCHEDULED TO BEGIN AT 5:30 P-M NEXT TUESDAY, ON THE STEPS OF THE SANTA CRUZ COUNTY SUPERIOR COURT BUILDING, AND THEN PROCEED TO THE TOWN CLOCK.
