Bandana Bandits Rob Motel 6 3.19.13 7.35a AF

Two armed men robbed a woman and attempted to rob the clerk in the lobby of a Salinas Motel 6.      Shortly after 9pm last night two men dressed in black and wearing bandanas over their faces entered the lobby of the De La Torre Street Motel 6.    One of the thieves jumped over the counter with a handgun and demanded money from the clerk.     The motel employee ran from the building and was able to escape.    The two then demanded money of a woman standing in front of the desk, and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.    They were last seen fleeing toward the Inns of California.
