Flooding, Road Closures As Heavy Rains Fall On Saturated Ground

Take A Look At Some Local Flooding

AN ARREST HAS BEEN MADE FOLLOWING A RECENT STRING OF BURGLARIES AND VANDALISM AT A BUSINESS IN THE 1000 BLOCK OF SOUTH MAIN STREET IN SALINAS.   THE OWNER OF THE BUSINESS RECENTLY INSTALLED A SURVEILLANCE SYSTEM THAT CAPTURED FOOTAGE OF THE BUSINESS BEING BURGLARIZED ON SATURDAY.     OFFICERS RECOGNIZED THE SUSPECT FROM PREVIOUS CONTACTS WHILE REVIEWING THE FOOTAGE, AND A SHORT TIME LATER LOCATED 56-YEAR-OLD ALBERT KEY.       KEY PROVIDED A FALSE NAME TO POLICE AND ALSO HAD A PAROLE WARRANT OUT FOR HIS ARREST. KEY WAS TRANSPORTED TO COUNTY JAIL AND BOOKED ON THE CHARGES OF BURGLARY, FALSE INFORMATION TO POLICE AND THE PAROLE WARRANT.
