Flooding, Road Closures As Heavy Rains Fall On Saturated Ground

Take A Look At Some Local Flooding

An event will be held at VinoCruz tomorrow celebrating International Women’s Day.     The 6 to 8pm event will feature  wine tasting and crafts made by women.    In addition to this, a film about the struggles of young women in Africa and around the world will be shown at the Regal Santa Cruz 9 at 7:30pm on Monday.   Attendants of the film, Girls Rising, will be able to record their reactions; which will in turn be shown to young women in Africa alongside the film.   A public discussion on girls’ education is scheduled for March 19th at the Firelight Foundation Office as well.
