Flooding, Road Closures As Heavy Rains Fall On Saturated Ground

After years of praying for rain, Santa Cruz County has had more than its fill. Looking for something to bet on now that the Super Bowl is in the past? Try betting on whether 17 will stay open!

Take A Look At Some Local Flooding

THEFT OF AGRICULTURAL SUPPLIES HAS HIT THE CENTRAL COAST HARD IN THE RECENT PAST.    LAST YEAR FIFTY THOUSAND SPRINKLER HEADS WERE STOLEN, AND SIX HUNDRED THOUSAND TRACTORS ON THE CENTRAL COAST ALONE.    R.C. FARMS IN SOLEDAD WAS RECENTLY HIT BY A.G. THIEVES AND 350 SPRINKLERS WERE STOLEN.    MONTEREY COUNTY HAS JUST ONE INVESTIGATOR IN IT’S A.G. THEFT DEPARTMENT.     LEGISLATORS ARE CURRENTLY WORKING ON A BILL THAT WOULD MAKE IT EASIER TO RECORD AG THEFT ACROSS THE STATE.
