Tased and Confused 2/19/13 12.50p AF

A man who violated a restraining order was tased and arrested by Salinas Police yesterday (Monday).      At 11:45 am the victim called from a residence on the 18800 block of Eisenhower Drive, where 52-year-old Donald Breeden was trying to get into the home.     By doing so, Breeden was in violation of a protective order, and was already wanted for similar violations.    Breeden left before officers arrived, but called the victim from a nearby business while the person was speaking with the police.    Breeden was located on San Juan Grade Road, and asked to exit his vehicle but wouldn’t cooperate.    When he finally did get out of the truck, Breeden was holding a knife, and refused to put it down.      Breeden was tased and taken into custody, where he was treated for minor injuries and then booked into county jail.
