Dog Causes Accident on Hwy 17 2/19/13 12.20p AF

A car accident blocked traffic on Highway 17 this (Tuesday) morning, after a dog reportedly caused the accident.      A black Escalade was just above the Laurel Curve at 10:15 this (Tuesday) morning when the animal allegedly ran into the roadway.    The SUV struck another vehicle and flipped onto its side in the right lane.    Traffic was backed up for several hours as cars inched past the incident.   No one was injured in either vehicle, but CHP were on the lookout for a caramel colored pit bull with a pink collar.
