Watsonville Police Fundraiser Labeled "Success" 2/19/13 9a AF

A fundraiser held for the Watsonville Police Assistance Fund on Saturday reportedly raised more than $10,000.       Around 140 people attended the event, held on the top floor of the Civic Plaza building, the theme of which was “An Evening in Italy.”      Watsonville Police Chief Manny Solano emceed the event, which boasted a gourmet meal, auction, and live music.     The money raised by the event will help to fund the cadet program, K9 programs, college scholarships, and more.
