Passenger Runs, is Arrested 2/7/13 9.50a AF

A man with a warrant out for his arrest was captured when he jumped from a vehicle during a traffic stop.     At 7:40 pm yesterday, officers in the Violence Supression Unit in Salinas pulled over a vehicle for traffic violations on Market Way.     As the car was coming to a stop, officers could see that the front passenger was preparing to jump out of the vehicle.  He did just that, but officers chased and caught 33-year-old Ramon Cabral.    Cabral had a warrant out for his arrest, and was found to be in possession of methamphetamine.   He was booked into Monterey County Jail.
