Armed Robber in Cowboy Hat 2/4/13 8a AF

A gun wielding man in a cowboy hat robbed a Soledad gas station Saturday night.       Just after 11pm a man in his 20’s entered the 101 Chevron and brandished a black semi-automatic handgun with a silver ejection port at the clerk.     The suspect was wearing a dark grey sweatshirt, jeans, black rubber boots, and a straw cowboy hat.     He demanded money, and also that the attendant turn on the gas pumps so he could fill his car.     The suspect filled his 1990’s, grey, 4-door sedan and fled the scene.    The gas station clerk was unharmed.
