Carjackers Arrested 1/30/13 8a AF

Salinas Police officers were able to recover a stolen car and arrest three car jackers after a lengthy search for the suspects.      Just before 10pm Tuesday night the victim was carjacked at gunpoint while on Tuscany Way at Canelli Court.    The three suspects fled in the man’s vehicle, and were quickly spotted by police officers.    After being followed, the three ditched the car and tried to escape on foot.      A perimeter was set up and eventually all the suspects and the gun were found.     20-year-old Richard Delgado, 23-year-old Michael Aguilera, and 25-year-old Johnny Magdaleno, all known Norteno gang members, were taken into custody.   All were booked into Monterey County Jail on multiple charges.
