Cabrillo Bookstore Under New Management 1/22/13 10.20a AF

Cabrillo College in Aptos is turning over management of their bookstore to a Barnes and Noble affiliate this fall.    The College’s Governing Board approved a contract in December with B&N College, which will take over management for the next 5 years.    Students will now have access to an even larger inventory, and will be able to rent digital textbooks for the first time.    It is anticipated that the agreement will yield $300,000 in revenue to the school every year, plus commission.      An option for renewal of the contract will be available at the end of the 5 year period.
