Hit and run sentence 01/17/13 9:45a.m. TDH

A morgan hill woman who was convicted of a hit and run that left her victim in a coma, has been sentenced to 1-year of jail time.  28-year-old Sandra arias was also sentenced to 5-years probation, for hitting 23-year-old Joshua valdez last june, and leaving him on the side of the road.  valdez did recover from his coma, but the accident left him with brain trauma.  Arias was also ordered to pay restitution to valdez.
