escapee re-arrested 01/13/13 11:15p.m. TDH

a man who escaped from monterey county jail last week was re-arrested friday.  james rimbey ran away from his work crew, while the crew was doing yard work outside of the jail.  rimbey was located at a residence on the 7-hundred block of garner avenue and arrested.  he was re-booked at monterey county jail.  rimbey was not believed to be dangerous; he was originally arrested for burglary.
