guilty: 2005 shooting 01/13/13 11p.m. TDH

a 38-year-old man has been found guilty of a gang shooting in king city that took place in 2005.  juan carlos valenzuela was convicted by a monterey county jury of assault with a firearm, shooting into an occupied vehicle, and gang enhancements. valenzuela and 3-other gang members shot at a vehicle occupied by 3 people, after chasing the car down in their own vehicle.  nobody was injured in the shooting.  valenzuela faces up to 45 years behind bars—he is scheduled to be sentenced february 19th.
