Sal chase, arrest 01/11/13 7a.m. TDH

A man was arrested in salinas thursday following a shooting and a chase with salinas police officers.  officers were called to the area of elwood street and maryal drive after receiving a report of a shooting.  As they were checking the area, the saw a suburban speeding away, and pursued the vehicle to the north salinas area.  the driver crashed on Julia avenue.  22-year-old henry lechuga was arrested on various charges, including possession of a stolen firearm.
