17-years for abduction 01/10/13 9a.m. TDH

A 19-year-old seaside man was sentenced yesterday to     17-years in prison, in connection with his abduction of a  12-year-old girl.    Eli Escobar Garcia called the girl his girlfriend.  He ran off with her last January, and was later found in los angeles.     Garcia was convicted in October of 21-criminal charges.  he will have to register as a sex offender for life.
