Fort ord award (rhymes) 01/10/13 8:20a.m. TDH

Fort ord national monument has been recognized with an environmental award.  The wilderness society selected the new monument to receive the cape award for excellence in conservation of public land.   The 15-thousand acre parcel was designated as a “national monument” last year.
