Blankets for shelter stolen 01/08/13 11a.m. TDH

A salinas non-profit organization is again turning to the public for help in collecting blankets for those in need.  a winter donation effort was a success—with about 3-hundred blankets collected, and ready to be delivered to the shelter “dorothy’s place”  but, the trailer that was holding the blankets was stolen the day before the delivery was to be made.  Authorities are looking for a white, “Wells cargo” trailer, with license plate 4-e-a-9-3-5.  with shelter officials assuming the blankets will not be recovered, efforts are being re-launched to collect more blankets.  Dorothy’s place is located at 30 soledad street, in salinas.   their website is:   dorothys place dot org.
