Drug/probation arrests 01/08/13 8a.m. TDH

3-people were arrested in salinas on drug-related charges Saturday.  23-year-old jamal Jackson 30-year-old Royce curland and 25-year-old kashif powell were taken into custody on soledad street (in the china town area).  jackson allegedly discarded bindles of heroin when officers approached.  he was taken into custody for possession of a controlled substance, while powell and curland were arrested for probation violation.
