Gilroy homicide victim idd 01/08/13 8a.m. TDH

Gilroy Authorities have released the identity of a man that was killed on new year’s eve.  51-year-old elpidio morales junior was gunned down on old Gilroy street (near Alexander street) at about 9:30 p.m. last Monday night.  morales died while being airlifted to a bay area trauma center.  a dark colored sedan was seen driving away from the scene.  Anyone with information about the incident is encouraged to contact the Gilroy police department.
