Standoff ends in arrest 01/07/13 7:30a.m. TDH

A salinas man was arrested yesterday evening, following a standoff with salinas police officers.     officers were called to a residence at 34 sherwood drive, after receiving reports of a family disturbance.  The suspect was believed to be armed, and he would not come out of the house.   Once the other occupants in the house had left, albert robles surrendered peacefully.  No weapon was found.  Traffic was blocked between rossi street and market way while the standoff unfolded.
