Housing grant awarded 01/06/12 7:30p.m. TDH

a 60-thousand dollar grant has been awarded to help some scotts valley families become homeowners.  the grant money comes from the federal home loan bank of san francisco's affordable housing program, and is being disbursed through the local chapter of Habitat for Humanity.  the money is expected to be used to make down-payments on a lot on blake lane, that will see 3 townhouses constructed.  work on the houses is expected to be completed in spring.
