missing person 01/06/13 7:30p.m. TDH

a 23-year-old scotts valley man has been reported missing.  family members contacted authorities after alex fossgreen left home and did not return.  he reportedly took his passport with him, but no money or cell phone.  Family members are concerned that fossgreen might be upset about a recent breakup.  alex fossgreen is described as a white male, 5-foot-7, about 135 pounds.  He has short brown hair, a goatee and hazel eyes, and has been known to hang out at the hidden peak teahouse in downtown santa cruz.   the 23-year-old was last seen early friday leaving his lockwood lane home.  anyone who sees alex fossgreen is encouraged to contact authorities.
