Hollister vets building costs 01/04/13 11:45a.m. TDH

Hollister city officials are struggling to craft a plan to save the city’s veteran’s memorial building from closure.  City leaders are trying to prioritize funding, which could cost the veterans building—literally.  The cost of up-keeping and managing the gathering place has led to discussions of possibly closing the building.  Talks are reportedly underway to explore the idea of having local veterans groups take over management responsibilities.
