Roundabout Project Moves Forward 1/3/13 6.40p AF

The city of Monterey voted Wednesday night to allocate funds to a project that will build a roundabout connecting Highway 68 to Highway 1.    The city was given a 350 thousand dollar grant to complete the project that will be off the southbound ramp.     Roundabouts can significantly increase traffic capacities in the areas they are used.    The project is scheduled to be completed by June of 2015.
