Jail escapees caught 01/03/13 7:30a.m. TDH

2-women were re-arrested after briefly escaping from a santa cruz jail facility. Melissa bica and domenika galpren jumped over a fence at the blaine street minimum security women’s facility on Monday night.  the escape did not go unnoticed—the 2 were being watched by jail employees, who contacted santa cruz county sheriff’s deputies. Galpren and bica were taken into custody near ocean and water streets a short time later.
