Teenage Underpants Thief Arrested 1/2/13 11a AF

A teenage boy was arrested Tuesday after breaking into an apartment and stealing underwear from the resident.     Officers responded to the 100 Block of Pearl street shortly before 6am, where a woman reported seeing a burglar fleeing through her bathroom window.    The victim was awakened by noises at her front and back door, and got up to investigate.    When she saw the bathroom light turn on, she entered the room and saw the boy escaping.    Police found the 16-year-old juvenile in a nearby apartment that the boy’s family had formerly resided in.    The suspect was in possession of underpants from the victim’s residence, and another unknown victim.   He was booked into Juvenile Hall for burglary.
