Califonia Agency Gets Name Change 1/2/13 7.50a AF

The California Department of Fish and Game will be going by a new name from here on out.    The agency will now be known as the Department of Fish and Wildlife.     The name change is one provision of many that will affect the Department passed in Assembly Bill 2402 last September.    The officers formerly known as “game wardens” will now be called “wildlife officers.”
