Woman Robs Pacific Grove Bank 1/2/13 7.0a AF

An armed woman robbed a Pacific Grove bank on Monday evening.     At 5:24 pm, the suspect entered the Monterey Credit Union on Fountain Avenue and approached a teller.    The woman handed the teller a note demanding money, then pulled out a semi-automatic handgun.    She also told the teller that two men were waiting outside with shotguns if she did not comply.     The teller handed over the money, and the suspect fled toward Central Avenue.   The identity of the suspect is unknown, but she is described and being between 40 to 50-year-old, about 5 foot 3 inches, and between 150 and 180 pounds. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Pacific Grover Police Department.
