No arrests at DUI checkpoint (SV) 12/31/12 7:15a.m. TDH

Scotts valley police reported an arrest-free D-U-I-operation Friday night.  The sobriety checkpoint was set up on scotts valley drive during evening and nighttime hours.  Of the 266-vehicles that were screened, 5-drivers were investigated for suspicion of D-U-I, however none were arrested.   the checkpoint was funded as part of the “Avoid the 9” campaign.
