1 shot in seaside 12/30/12 10:30p.m. TDH

a 21-year-old man was shot in seaside saturday night.  seaside police were called to the university plaza shopping center at about 10:30 p.m., after receiving reports of the shooting.  Officers located a single victim at the freedom boulevard scene.  he had been shot multiple times, after exchanging words with a nearby person.  The shooter was not immediately located.  the victim was transported to a bay area trauma center to be treated.   the incident is believed to be gang-related and remains under investigation.
