salinas prostitution sting 12/30/12 10:30p.m. TDH

salinas police made 8-arrests during a prostitution sting friday night.  officers on the department's violence suppression unit conducted the operation in multiple locations around the city.  7 women were arrested, along with 1-man.  the arrests all included charges of prostitution, but some suspects are facing various other charges, including probation violation and drug possession.  the arrestees' ages ranged from 20 years old to 43 years old.
