Man shot in head (WV) 12/30/12 7:30p.m. TDH

The circumstances leading to the shooting of a man saturday afternoon in watsonville are under investigation.   Emergency responders were called to freedom boulevard (near airport boulevard), after receiving reports of a man incapacitated in his car, which was stopped in the middle of the road.  Watsonville firefighters discovered a gun on the man's lap—he was suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.  the victim was breathing, and was taken to watsonville community hospital, before being airlifted to a santa clara county trauma center.  Anyone with information about the incident is encouraged to contact the watsonville police department.
