Struck Pedestrian ID’d 12/21/12 8:20a.m. TDH

Authorities have released the name of the victim of a fatal traffic accident in pacific grove this week.  70-year-old seaside resident Kathy dearing was struck by a vehicle, as she crossed pine avenue Tuesday evening.  It was already dark when the 6-p.m. accident occurred.  no charges have been filed against the driver so far, however the investigation remains open.    Dearing died from her injuries after being air-lifted to san jose regional medical center.
