The results of a phone survey exploring the idea of issuing school bonds for the soquel union elementary school district, has suggested support for the measure. 4-hundred voters in the school district were surveyed in late November, and were asked if they would support a 90-dollar per parcel property tax, which would go to fund the 5-schools in the district. about 65-percent of respondents reportedly said they would support the measure in a special election. A public meeting on the matter is scheduled for January 30th.
