Packaged salmon recall 12/20/12 10:20a.m. TDH

Monterey county health officials have announced a recall of some packaged salmon.   2 brands of cold smoked nova scotia atlantic salmon are being recalled, after traces of bacteria were detected during routine testing.  The affected products are “nathan’s brand cold smoked nova salmon” sold in 3-ounce portions, and LASCO cold smoked salmon sold in 4-ounce portions.   The products were sold by the company “ocean beauty” in California and 11 other states.
