A woman accused of shooting at a capitola police officer and santa cruz county sheriff’s deputies pleaded not guilty tuesday. Amanda sloan is facing several felony charges in connection with the November 11th incident. she was wanted for almost a month after the alleged crime, but was arrested after returning to her soquel hills home earlier this month. Sloan remains in custody as the case continues, with bail increased yesterday to 900-thousand dollars.
