Salinas shooting 12/18/12 10:30p.m. TDH

A shooting was reported in salinas Tuesday, but nobody was reportedly injured.  salinas police officers responded to the call of shots fired at about noon.  No victims were found at the garner avenue scene, but evidence of a shooting was found.   Nearby martin luther king junior academy and jesse g. sanchez elementary school officials were notified, however no students were on the campuses at the time.   Anyone with information about the shooting is encouraged to contact the salinas police department.
